At a glance
Plastic granule transport (PE, PP, PVC, ABS, PET, PS, PA) in 55–65 m³ silo trailers — PHS Magnum’s core segment. A dedicated food-grade fleet, batch traceability and cleanliness procedures that meet the requirements of Europe’s largest chemical plants. Routes across Poland and the entire EU, ISO 9001:2015, base 4 km from the A4 (Gogolin junction).
How to order granule transport — step by step
From enquiry to discharge at the customer:
- Enquiry — state the granulate type (PE/PP/PVC/ABS/PET/PS/PA), food-grade or industrial, tonnage, route and date. Tel: +48 602 716 551.
- Trailer selection and quote — for food-grade we assign a dedicated silo trailer; we provide a quote and the earliest date.
- Loading — pneumatic from the shipper’s silo (60–90 min) or from big-bags via transloading.
- Carriage — routes across Poland and the entire EU; Euro 6 with unrestricted access to DE/AT low-emission zones.
- Unloading and documents — pneumatic discharge, CMR/e-CMR, cleanliness certificate and batch traceability.
Plastic granules — the PHS Magnum specialisation
Plastic granules are PHS Magnum’s core transport segment. Decades of experience, a dedicated food-grade fleet, and traceability and cleanliness procedures that satisfy the requirements of Europe’s largest chemical plants.
Granulate types we handle
PE (polyethylene)
HDPE (high-density polyethylene):
- Beverage bottles (food-grade, heading towards 9-11% recycled content by 2030)
- Household chemical packaging
- Technical films
- Water and sewer pipes
LDPE (low-density polyethylene):
- Food films (food-grade)
- Packaging films
- Carrier bags
LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene):
- Stretch films (pallet wrapping)
- Hermetic films for the food industry
All PE types — density 0.91-0.97 g/cm³ — are carried in a standard pneumatic silo trailer.
PP (polypropylene)
- PP homopolymer — packaging, textiles (PP fabrics), engineering plastics
- PP copolymer — greater flexibility, food packaging
- PP-R (random) — hot and cold water pipes
- Food-grade PP — food cups, dairy containers
The segment with the strongest growth after PPWR 2026 takes effect — a 10% recycled-content requirement in food PP packaging from 2026.
PVC (polyvinyl chloride)
- Rigid PVC (uPVC) — construction profiles, pipes, packaging
- Flexible PVC (pPVC) — electrical cables, floor coverings
- Food-grade PVC — food packaging (rare, a declining segment)
At PHS Magnum, PVC travels in industrial silo trailers (not food-grade — chlorinated PVC is by its nature unsuitable for food-grade tanks).
PET (polyethylene terephthalate)
- Bottle-grade PET — the most common, food-grade for beverages
- Fibre-grade PET — textiles, technical fibres
- Packaging-grade PET — food containers, blisters
Specifics: PET is hygroscopic — dry transport is mandatory (silo trailer blow-through with dry compressed air, no wet washing without sufficient drying).
ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene)
- Home appliances (fridges, washing machines, TVs)
- Automotive (dashboards, interior components)
- Electronics (housings)
Standard industrial transport — density 1.04-1.07 g/cm³, good pneumatic flow.
PS (polystyrene)
- Crystal PS (GPPS) — packaging, disposables
- High-impact PS (HIPS) — home appliances, automotive
- EPS (expandable polystyrene) — as granulate before expansion (careful handling — very low density)
PA (polyamide)
- PA 6 — textile fibres, engineering plastics
- PA 66 — structural components, gears
- PA 12 — specialist applications, with or without food-grade
Standard transport — density 1.13-1.15 g/cm³.

Shipper requirements
The standard requirements set by resin producers and recyclers:
- ISO 9001:2015 — the baseline (we hold a current DEKRA certificate)
- OCS Europe — required for operators handling >1,500 tonnes/year (implementation in progress, audit Q3-Q4 2026)
- Tank cleanliness certificate — for food-grade
- Batch traceability — batch number, certificate
- e-CMR (digital CMR) — the standard from 2026
- PPLP equipment (Pellet Loss Prevention) — on-board scoops and collection bags
PHS Magnum meets or is implementing all of the above.
