When you need truck roadside assistance
Every hour a truck stands idle on the road is real money — a lost run, a contractual penalty on a fixed contract, driver accommodation costs. A mobile service that reaches the breakdown quickly is worth more than the cheapest workshop the vehicle would have to be towed to.
PHS Magnum runs roadside assistance along the A4 from the Czech border near Wrocław, through Opole, to Gliwice and Katowice, plus the regional national roads (DK45, DK46, DK88, S11).
What we repair roadside
Truck tyres — mobile vulcanisation. Tyre replacement (315/80 R22.5 tractor, 385/55 R22.5 trailer), chemical repair, valve replacement, static balancing. Tyre stock (Continental, Michelin, Goodyear, Pirelli) carried in the workshop van.
Silo trailer pneumatics. Ball and butterfly valves, DN80–DN100 transfer hoses, Camlock fittings, aeration pads (Spitzer, Feldbinder). Silo trailer breakdown on the road →
Braking system and EBS. Wabco TEBS G2/G3 and Haldex EB+ diagnostics, fault code clearing, replacement of brake cylinders and relay valves.
Electrics and lighting. ISO 7638 and ISO 1185 cables, main and marker lighting, fuses, harness repairs.
Emergency welding. MIG/MAG (steel) and TIG (aluminium) — mountings, brackets, minor frame cracks. We do not weld pressure vessels roadside — that requires a certified welder and TDT documentation in the workshop hall.
When we tow to the workshop instead of repairing roadside
Not every breakdown can be fixed on the hard shoulder. Towing to the Chorula workshop is necessary for:
- pressure vessel cracks (welding requires TDT documentation),
- aeration pad damage requiring chamber disassembly,
- major compressor failures,
- chassis and frame damage requiring a lift and straightening.
In such cases the mechanic performs an emergency repair that lets the vehicle safely reach the hall, or arranges towing.
24h truck service — how the emergency line works
We answer the emergency phone +48 602 716 551 during workshop hours and beyond. During working hours (Mon–Fri 06:00–20:00) the mechanic departs immediately after the job is confirmed. At night and on weekends — departure within 30–60 minutes, with an out-of-hours surcharge.
In winter (November–March) we carry additional equipment for defrosting valves and fittings — a common problem with trailers parked overnight in freezing weather.
