How often does a silo trailer require TDT inspection?
The standard cycle is an external inspection every 2 years and a detailed inspection with pressure test every 6 years. Exact intervals depend on the tank material and transported medium. The TDT certificate is counted from the date of the last inspection, not from the beginning of the year.
What happens if the TDT certificate has expired?
The vehicle is prohibited from pressurised operation — it cannot carry pressurised bulk loads. At a road inspection (ITD/Straż Graniczna), it may be stopped. Fines for the carrier can exceed PLN 10,000 including the penalty and towing costs.
How much does TDT inspection preparation cost?

How quickly can a TDT inspection be scheduled?

Does TDT apply to trailers registered in Germany or Austria?
Yes — TDT certification is based on EU Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU, which applies across the EU. Polish TDT certification is valid in all EU member states. We regularly handle German (DE), Austrian (AT), and Swiss (CH) registered trailers.
Silo Trailer Service
Which brands do you service?
We specialise in Spitzer (BT series), Feldbinder (EUT/KIP/FV), and Kassbohrer (SV series). We also service Schwarzmüller, Stas, and most other European silo trailer manufacturers.
What does a standard annual silo trailer service include?
Inspection and lubrication of all discharge valves and hatches, aeration pad check and pressure test, safety valve function check, hose and coupling inspection, brake system check, lighting and electrical check, documentation update.
Can you service trailers without visiting the workshop?
Yes, we offer mobile service in the A4 corridor (Opole–Wrocław–Katowice). Response time 45–110 minutes depending on location. Tel: +48 602 716 551.
What is the typical lead time for silo trailer paint renovation?
Full renovation (sandblasting + 2-coat paint system): 7–14 working days. Partial repair of corrosion areas: 3–5 days. We have a dedicated paint booth for trailers up to 15m length.
Spare Parts
Do you stock Spitzer and Feldbinder parts?
Yes. We carry aeration pads, discharge valves, pressure valves, hoses and Camlock couplings, hatch gaskets (EPDM/silicone), pressure gauges, and manometers for all major brands. Most common parts available from stock.

Do you sell to workshops outside Poland?
Yes. We ship parts within EU. Typical delivery: 3–5 business days to Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, France.
Bulk Transport
What bulk materials do you transport?
Plastic granules (PE, PP, PET), cement, gypsum, lime, calcium carbonate, dry sand, feedstuffs. Our fleet of 26 DAF XF 480 tractors with 30+ silo trailers (60m³) covers all EU destinations.
What is the minimum order volume?
One trailer load. No minimum tonnage requirement for a single shipment. We also handle partial loads and multi-drop routes.
Do you have ISO 9001:2015 certification?
Yes. PHS Magnum holds ISO 9001:2015 certification for all transport and service operations.

Yes. We have a secure, fenced yard with space for 30+ trailers. No appointment needed to drop a trailer for repair.
