Silo and Tanker Washing Station
PHS Magnum operates a silo and tanker washing station in Chorula, Poland — 4 km from motorway A4. We offer interior and exterior washing of silo trailers, cement trailers and tankers, issuing a cleanliness certificate under our ISO 9001:2015 quality system.
The washing station is located within the PHS Magnum service complex, which means a wash can be combined with a service visit, TDT inspection preparation or tyre change — reducing the number of journeys and total turnaround time.

When Is Washing Required?
Before a Load Change
Switching between materials — for example from cement to food-grade granulate PE/PP, or from mineral powder to animal feed — requires documented cleaning. Residues from an incompatible previous cargo can contaminate the new load and breach the shipper’s quality requirements. A cleanliness certificate protects the carrier in the event of a quality dispute.
Before TDT Inspection
The TDT inspector must be able to assess the interior surfaces of a pressure tank. Inspection cannot proceed correctly if residual material obscures the tank walls, welds or fittings. Washing before inspection is not optional — it is a prerequisite. Scheduling the wash and TDT inspection on the same day at our facility minimises downtime.
Routine Fleet Maintenance
Regular interior washing extends tank service life by preventing material build-up that can trap moisture and accelerate corrosion, especially in carbon steel tanks used for cement or fly ash. For stainless Feldbinder EUT trailers used in food transport, periodic washing and the associated documentation is part of the hygiene protocol required by food manufacturers.

Plan washing to arrive the day before a TDT inspection or early on the day, to allow time for compressed-air drying before the inspector’s arrival.
